Alright, things are not quite that bad. Sculpture by Brian Willsher, after a certain well known painting, which I did not nick.
This is the second prototype of the website. The first was started with a word processor and tweaked by hand. This one is handbuilt, but I am still learning, so expect frequent revisions.
I have been told (thanks Pam) that the images on the previous version of the site were slow to download on a non-broadband telephone modem. I have provided a quick-and-dirty fix for this version, I plan to improve it later.
The colour scheme suits my vision. If it causes you discomfort, please let me know. If you are only offended on aesthetic grounds — tough (but drop me a line anyway, I might be prepared to negotiate).
I now plan to add an optional facility to view the site with a more conventional black-on-white colour scheme. OK Grog?
My thanks to Rod Peterson for advice on improving the page layout; if it is still horrible, that is, of course, my fault!
Normal access to the website is via http:www.frankhouse.me.uk which will redirect browsers to whichever of two URLs is currently active.
